- Installation: FLASH-GUARD NA should be installed between the foundation and the sill plate, ledger or other framing component
- Surfaces must be free from debris to avoid puncturing
- Install in large sections to avoid gaps and seams, lapping all joints a minimum of 6″ to insure there are no gaps
- Edge flashing should extend 2″ beyond the edge of the foundation and turned down at a 45 degree angle
- It is recommended that any and all penetrations are lapped and sealed using HB sealant
- Note: Use stainless steel or copper nails only
