For added protection, this model features a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) which avoids circuit overloads. Your pump will shut off automatically if the electrical current is exposed to water. Using Type B filter cartridges (29005E), it is recommended that you replace them every couple of weeks for the best results.
